Description:

This award is for students who want to pursue a PhD degree in Astronomy & Astrophysics. It is funded by a fund established in memory of Professor Olin J. Eggen by the Australian National University’s Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA). The award covers partial funding, up to AUD 2,500. The application deadline varies.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this award, you must:

• Be an international student, except from Australia.
• Be enrolled in RSAA’s PhD program and doing an astronomy and astrophysics project.
• Meet all the required criteria by the Delegated Authority.

Award value

The award provides a stipend of up to AUD 2,500 for 1 year.
