Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (must be a student in good standing).
• Anticipated graduation date within the internship timeframe (typically summer).
• A valid student nurse license may be required (depending on state regulations).
• Knowledge of clinical terminology
• Strong understanding of nursing fundamentals and a passion for patient care.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced nurses with performing clinical chart reviews to ensure quality care standards are met.
• Participate in analyzing healthcare data to identify opportunities for improving patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness.
• Support with developing and implementing evidence-based practices within the clinical oversight program (as applicable).
• Gain exposure to healthcare regulations and quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare industry.
• Contribute to educational presentations or training materials related to clinical oversight (as applicable).
• Participate in networking events and mentorship opportunities with experienced nurses (as applicable).
