Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (must be a student in good standing).
- Anticipated graduation date within the internship timeframe (typically summer).
- A valid student nurse license may be required (depending on state regulations).
- Knowledge of clinical terminology
- Strong understanding of nursing fundamentals and a passion for patient care.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced nurses with performing clinical chart reviews to ensure quality care standards are met.
- Participate in analyzing healthcare data to identify opportunities for improving patient outcomes and cost-effectiveness.
- Support with developing and implementing evidence-based practices within the clinical oversight program (as applicable).
- Gain exposure to healthcare regulations and quality improvement initiatives within the healthcare industry.
- Contribute to educational presentations or training materials related to clinical oversight (as applicable).
- Participate in networking events and mentorship opportunities with experienced nurses (as applicable).
