The Call for Next Gen Completion Fellowships 2024 is officially open. This incredible initiative, led by the Social Scientific Research Council, is offering fellowships in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda. The aim is to support doctoral students in completing their degrees while advancing groundbreaking research in the fields of development, security, and peace.
The fellowships provide a fantastic one-year break from teaching and administrative duties, coupled with a generous salary of up to $10,000. This allows fellows to fully focus on completing their dissertations and making significant contributions to the field. Moreover, engaging workshops are offered to enhance writing skills and provide valuable mentorship opportunities.
The program is committed to funding diverse research initiatives that explore the complexities of economics, politics, society, conflict, and peace-building processes.
