Education & Qualifications Requirements:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Engineering / Science.
- Master’s degree in Economics and International Trade.
- Master’s degree in Law and International Relations.
- University degree in Business administration / Policy or Development.
Work Experiences:
- Work Experience in quality infrastructure and trade facilitation.
- Work Experience in procurement of equipment for QI institutions.
- Experience in implementation of technical cooperation / development projects.
- Experience in EU single market and related principles.
- Work Experience in working with government institutions and international or non-governmental organizations supporting gender.
Languages:
- Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
- Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.
Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for identifying and prioritizing QI needs in terms of equipment in line with government priorities and development strategies.
- Responsible for supporting procurement and installation of equipment in line with the UNIDO procedures for selected institutions.
- Responsible for supporting the preparation of a capacity building plan to strengthen QI institutions in line with the purchased equipment.
- Responsible for supporting the realization of the capacity building activities.
- Responsible for integrating relevant gender components from the plan of action for gender mainstreaming in the workplan of the project activities.
