Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in food safety / quality management.
  • Master’s degree in food sciences and engineering.
  • University degree in Business administration / Economic.

Work Experiences:

  • Work Experience in the field of food equality mainstreaming.
  • Work Experience in working in the field of food safety and quality management.
  • Experience in implementation of technical cooperation / development projects.
  • Experience in developing and implementing capacity building programmes.
  • Work Experience in working with government institutions and international or non-governmental organizations supporting gender.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for overseeing the plan.ning / design, and implementation of the LIFSI food safety centered interventions
  • Responsible for reviewing project document and relevant UNIDO documents on the requirements for gender mainstreaming.
  • Responsible for conducting a detailed food safety analysis through survey or interviews.
  • Responsible for collecting sex disaggregated baseline data that could be used to monitor potential gender impacts.
  • Responsible for integrating relevant gender components from the plan of action for gender mainstreaming in the workplan of the project activities.
