Summary:
The Millennium Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program for undergraduate students. It is a partnership between Millennium Campus Network (MCN) and United Nations Academic Impact. The program aims to convene, challenge, and celebrate student leadership for UN goals. Selected campuses worldwide will host 8-20 Millennium Fellows who will work on projects advancing at least one Sustainable Development Goal and one UNAI principle. The program offers values-driven leadership training, connections with global fellows and alumni, webinars by world-class leaders, access to training resources, community events, and recognition from the UN and MCN. Eligible students must be at least 18 years old, enrolled in a college or university, and commit to in-person meetings with campus directors and fellows. The program is free and runs from August to December each year.
Requirements and Qualifications:
– Be at least 18 years old and an undergraduate enrolled in a college or university
– Be in good standing at the academic institution for the program’s duration
– Commit to in-person meetings with campus directors and fellows at least eight times during the program
– Students must attend on-campus sessions and missing sessions may result in expulsion
– Campus directors have additional responsibilities
– Encouraged to invite colleagues and classmates to apply
