Volunteer Requirements:
- Qualified professionals and students at all levels of medical or nursing study.
- Intermediate level of Spanish.
- Basic knowledge of preventative healthcare.
- Experience with basic medical tasks such as taking blood pressure and testing glucose levels.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with health promotion campaigns and medical campaigns in low-income communities.
- Conduct children’s health evaluations in local schools.
- Deliver health prevention talks.
- Perform basic preventive checkups in local markets.
- Support local government health campaigns.
- Take vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, and glucose levels.
- Conduct general checkups including measurements of weight, height, and BMI.
