Summary:
International Volunteer HQ’s Childcare project empowers volunteers to assist local teachers in Sigatoka with lively groups of local children. Volunteers can be extremely helpful in being able to focus the energy of Fijian kids on lessons and constructive activities that contribute to their learning and growth. This is a fun and unique opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience in early childhood education and development. Moreover, the project offers flexible durations ranging from 1 to 12 weeks, allowing you to choose the volunteering period that aligns with your availability.

Fees:
The fees and the number of weeks vary depending on the volunteer’s choice, with program fees starting from $500 for 1 week. Additionally, all programs attract a registration fee of US$329, which covers all pre-departure support services. The program fee includes accommodation, meals, airport pick up, orientation and 24/7 support.
Aims:
- Enhance early childhood education for children in Fiji by providing assistance to local teachers and helping students develop essential life skills in a safe environment.
- Provide volunteers with an opportunity to develop their communication skills, gain valuable experience in childcare and teaching, and learn and practice the Fijian language.
- Alleviate the workload of local teachers by providing valuable assistance and support.
