Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (sophomores or juniors preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and database software skills.
• A keen understanding of social media platforms and marketing trends
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is a plus
• Familiarity with the environmental or engineering industries (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing engaging content for social media platforms, website, and marketing materials
• Conduct research and contribute to the creation of marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, case studies) (may vary by internship)
• Support with social media management tasks, including scheduling posts and community engagement (may vary by internship)
• Participate in marketing events and trade shows (may vary by internship)
• Assist with website content management and analytics (may vary by internship)
• Gain exposure to various aspects of marketing and communications within a professional engineering firm
