As a Piaget Marketing Intern, candidates will have the chance to fully immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations and projects of a top-tier luxury brand.

Responsibilities:

Event Coordination:

The selected candidate will provide valuable support in the coordination and organization of various events, including product launches and exclusive VIP experiences, with a particular emphasis on the Hamptons Polo event. They will assist in the creation of event briefs and debriefs to ensure seamless execution and acquire insights into the event creation process, gaining hands-on experience in liaising with event suppliers for design and production. The intern will also have the opportunity to shadow the events team, acquiring a comprehensive understanding of how live events are successfully coordinated.

Communications:

The intern will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop engaging content for various social media platforms. They will learn the art of generating effective PR coverage and contribute to the development of trend ideas for pitches. Additionally, the intern will participate in the preparation of monthly Best Of reports for headquarters and share weekly highlights with retail teams. They will provide support during photoshoots and product loans, including related coverage activities.

General Duties:

The selected candidate will contribute to the creation of engaging presentations and familiarize themselves with the research process, compiling examples of competitor marketing strategies and experiences. They will conduct thorough market research and analyze competitor activities to identify emerging trends and opportunities for the brand.

Project Assignment:

Based on their competitor research and their experience with Piaget’s existing events, the intern will develop a comprehensive event concept for a holiday activation across all boutiques. This will involve incorporating best practices observed from competitors, effective activation methods, budget considerations, and more.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program at the time of application. They should possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. An innovative mindset and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. The intern should be a collaborative team player with a drive for excellence and a willingness to support others. They should be energetic and eager to contribute to various projects and initiatives. Availability to work full-time throughout the duration of the summer internship program (June 3rd – August 9th) is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; international students must hold a valid work visa, as Richemont North America does not provide work visa sponsorship for summer internships. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
