Waterfront Restoration LLC is currently seeking a resourceful individual with enthusiasm and creativity to join their team as a Marketing intern. In this role, the intern will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales to support the company’s growth and development. The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to various marketing initiatives, including web, direct marketing, and email communication, to generate leads and maintain consistent brand messaging. Additionally, the intern will assist in managing the company’s online presence through the creation of social media and blog content.
Throughout the internship, the selected candidate will have the chance to enhance their skills in developing creative marketing strategies, attracting and retaining profitable customers, and making strategic and tactical decisions. Responsibilities:
Marketing Projects and Analysis (65%):
- Undertake marketing projects and tasks based on the company’s marketing plan.
- Support the implementation of marketing projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate the development of internet marketing and social media strategies.
- Work on SEO development and improvements to drive website traffic.
- Analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
- Design direct mail postcards and letters targeting specific niches.
- Assist in creating expansion campaigns for new markets.
- Develop creative campaigns to engage potential leads in the company’s database.
- Coordinate and plan company events.
- Collaborate on scheduling and preparation for photo shoots.
- Conduct market research on buyer personas.
Customer Relationship Management and Administrative Work (35%):
- Assist the sales team in maintaining customer retention and satisfaction.
- Perform day-to-day operational tasks, such as monitoring email inboxes and handling phone calls.
- Support account management activities.
- Develop skills in working with clients professionally and handling objections and complaints.
- Gather information from prospective clients and schedule appointments with account managers.
- Manage day-to-day operational tasks, including email inbox monitoring, invoice support, agency and vendor management, photo asset requests, and gathering metrics.
