Qualifications:
- Junior or senior level student in a maritime-related program (Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Science, or similar).
- Strong passion for the maritime industry and its role in global trade.
- A desire to learn and contribute to a safety-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card, have a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check/drug screen (details on application).
Responsibilities:
- Participate in vessel inspections and surveys alongside experienced DNV surveyors (subject to regulations and qualifications).
- Gain hands-on experience with relevant maritime equipment and classification procedures.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting.
