Location
The program is based in Crown Point, a village on Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago’s smaller island. You’ll be involved in conservation efforts around the island’s stunning coral reefs and beaches.
Fees
IVHQ offers program fees that start at an attractive price, around $620 for a week. This cost covers your accommodation (with breakfast only), airport pick-up, project placement, 24/7 in-country support, and an orientation session. Program lengths range from 1 to 4 weeks.
Volunteer Requirements
- Age 18 or older (Families are welcome to participate)
- A passion for marine conservation and a desire to protect ocean ecosystems
- Interest in participating in data collection, reef monitoring, and potentially scuba diving activities (depending on your qualifications)
- Ability to work outdoors in potentially warm and humid conditions
- A willingness to learn about the local marine environment and conservation efforts
