Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a technical or vocational program related to machining, manufacturing, or a similar field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with machinery
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to learn and follow safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and blueprint reading (a plus)
- Basic computer literacy (familiarity with CNC software is preferable)
Responsibilities:
- Assist machinists with machine setup, operation, and maintenance tasks
- Learn to operate CNC machines.
- Perform basic machining operations under supervision.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy using measuring tools and instruments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Contribute to data collection and documentation of machining processes.
