Education & Qualifications Requirements:
- Master’s degree in international law / human rights.
- Have a University degree in international relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in political sciences.

Languages:
- Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).

Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for serving as the Deputy Head of Office and Representing the Office in the absence of the OHCHR Head of Office in Guatemala.
- Responsible for supervising and coordinating the office’s human rights monitoring and documentation work.
- Responsible for working with UN and non-governmental programs in the country to integrate human rights perspectives.
- Responsible for ensuring human rights issues, including their gender equality dimensions considerations.
- Responsible for providing legal advice and analysis on cases, public policies, capacity building to national authorities, and legislative proposals.
