OHCHR founded in 1993, operates under the UN General Assembly and is headed by the High Commissioner for Human Rights. This global office works to address human rights violations, provide assistance to governments and civil society in promoting and protecting human rights, and raise awareness about international human rights standards. OHCHR is playing a crucial role in monitoring and reporting on human rights issues worldwide, supporting the implementation of human rights treaties, and engaging with various stakeholders to advance the global human rights agenda.

Education & Qualifications Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social sciences.
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy international development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project management.
- Have a University degree in public relations.
Work Experiences:
- Work Experience at the national and international level in development research.
- Work Experience in policy analysis and research organizations.
- Experience in publications record with an international reputation for research.
- Work Experience in mobilizing resources for research for program / institutional development.
- Work Experience in familiarity with academic / policy and development institutions and professional networks.
- Full knowledge of understanding of UN and NGO systems and goals.
Languages:
- Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
- Having a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.
Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for helping envision, and plan the 62nd edition of the Graduate Study Programme.
- Responsible for conducting and evaluating the 62nd edition of the Graduate Study Programme.
- Responsible for contributing to the organization of other outreach events.
- Responsible for attending meetings of human rights treaty bodies.
- Responsible for attending biweekly press briefings/draft press briefing summaries “in English”.
