Project Description:
The IOPS Law Group is seeking a full-time law clerk or legal intern who is interested in gaining practical experience within the law department of a leading biotechnology company. The law clerk/intern will support the IOPS Law Group during the summer of 2024 and provide general assistance with various legal and administrative tasks, primarily related to contracting, policy updates, and regulatory research.
Required Technical Skills:
– Currently pursuing a JD degree, with preference given to students who will have completed their first year of law school by summer 2024.
– Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word and PowerPoint, and proficiency in using other data-driven applications.
– Strong writing, research, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
- To be considered for this internship:
- applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to an academic program pursuing a Law degree, with plans to return to school following the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- The internship requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks, from the end of May to the beginning of August.
- Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or community involvement is also highly valued.
