The ‘Ko Te Tangata School Leaver Scholarship, named ‘for the people,’ recognizes and supports top-achieving students commencing an undergraduate degree at the University of Waikato. Priority is given to those who achieve “Excellence” or “Merit” endorsement at NCEA level 2 (or equivalent) at a New Zealand secondary school and/or students facing financial hardship or extraordinary personal circumstances.
