This role focuses on assisting with various tasks before, during, and after meal service at the BVRC, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for senior members.

• Basic food handling skills and hygiene awareness (training provided)
• Reliability and commitment to a regular volunteer schedule (flexible scheduling options available)

Responsibilities:

Before Meal Service:

• Assist with setting up the dining room (arranging tables and chairs)
• Lay out cutlery, napkins, and other table settings

During Meal Service:

• Plate and serve meals to senior members
• Refill water glasses and beverages
• Assist with clearing tables as needed
• Provide friendly conversation and ensure a positive dining experience

After Meal Service:

• Assist with clearing and cleaning the dining room
• Wash dishes and utensils (as needed)
