Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75 preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and troubleshooting principles.
• Experience with operating systems like Windows and Linux and basic knowledge of SQL databases preferred.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and asset management tools a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamworking skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with network administration tasks, including user management, access control, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Provide technical support to Rail Weld department users, resolving computer and application problems.
• Assist with software implementations and upgrades for departmental systems.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify and recommend technological improvements.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate records of IT activities.
• Adhere to company IT policies and security protocols.
