The Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship programme supports high-calibre international students who wish to study at the master’s or PhD level in Ireland. The programme is funded by the Government of Ireland in partnership with Irish higher education institutions and managed by the Higher Education Authority. Under the initiative, scholarships are awarded for one year of full-time study at the master’s or PhD level. The programme is open to applicants studying in any field.

Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have a domiciliary of origin outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland/United Kingdom and have been continuously resident outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland/United Kingdom for at least three of the five years before the call deadline.
- and have a conditional or final offer for admission to Trinity as a full-time, international, fee-paying student.

Scholarship coverage
- A full tuition fee waiver (i.e. tuition fee and registration charge) for one year of a taught master’s degree programme or one year of a research programme (i.e. one year of two-year research master’s or a three- to four-year PhD).
