Education & Qualification Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in writing and editing in an aademic and international setting.
  • University degree in political sciences/development economics.
  • Academic background in publishing/journalism.
  • University degree in public international relations.

Work Experience:

  • Extensive experience in writing and editing in an academic and international setting.
  • Proficiency in writing in either English or Chinese language.
  • Full experience working within the United Nations system.
  • Strong skills in drafting reports, communications, presentations, and gathering statistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide editorial services primarily for the institute’s units.
  • Offer writing and editorial support to the institute’s personnel.
  • Coordinate the production of policy and research briefs, reports, and interviews.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, or other tools to effectively summarize findings and convey information to management.
  • Conceptualize and lead the creation of materials for various print and electronic media projects, such as brochures, flyers, posters, and online newsletters.
