Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in a healthcare administration, finance, or related field (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in healthcare finance
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with coding and classification of medical records according to industry standards (ICD-10, CPT)
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential billing errors and discrepancies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of revenue integrity processes
- Assist with data entry and recordkeeping tasks to ensure accurate claims submission
- May participate in audits and reviews of medical records (as assigned)
