Fall Internship Program

Summary

The George W. Bush Presidential Center offers a unique internship program for enthusiastic students seeking to gain valuable experience in a non-partisan environment. Interns will work alongside professionals on substantive projects related to the Center’s mission of promoting freedom, opportunity, and democracy. This program provides an excellent opportunity to develop research, writing, and communication skills, while gaining exposure to the inner workings of a presidential center.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
• Strong academic record
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in public policy, history, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Assist with research projects and drafting documents/correspondence
• Support event planning and execution
• Assist with guest relations and museum operations (depending on placement)
• Participate in meetings and contribute to ongoing projects
• Provide general office and administrative support
