Internship – Facilities Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Eager to learn about the role of facilities engineering in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software a plus)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior engineers with facility maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
  • Participate in projects related to facility optimization, system upgrades, and space utilization
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures
  • Support the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation (drawings, specifications)
  • Gain exposure to relevant codes, standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations
