Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in accounting, finance, or a related field (minimum sophomore year).
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and basic financial analysis concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) with a willingness to learn accounting software (a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to following procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable, and data entry.
• Participate in the month-end closing process and prepare basic financial reports (as applicable).
• Support with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing data analysis and calculations.
• Conduct research and analyze financial data to support informed decision-making (as applicable).
• Gain exposure to various areas of accounting and finance within Mulzer Crushed Stone (as applicable).
• Assist with projects related to cost analysis, financial reporting, or internal controls (as applicable).
