ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
The goal of the volunteer organization Kiwanis is to make a positive difference in the lives of children. There are
senior citizen clubs in our community that organize fundraisers to support youth initiatives. The local clubs are arranged under a European umbrella, with groups organized by nation (or “district”). This project is being carried out at the Kiwanis European Office, where we assist our volunteer leaders in Europe as well as our districts. We plan training sessions, webinars, publications, training videos, and answer queries from clubs and districts. WE WORK WITH OUR DISTRICTS AND VOLUNTEER LEADERS, WHO ARE OLDER GROWTH, RATHER THAN DIRECTLY WITH CHILDREN. We are seeking two volunteers for a 10- to 12-month period beginning in September or October of 2024.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
We provide induction and on-the-spot training, & the volunteers are also part of our team that organizes European trainings, and we also create training videos (“Kiwanis TV”). Please read carefully the website for all details: https://kiwanis.callforvolunteers.eu
