Keeping your scholarship:
To enjoy your scholarship throughout your studies, here’s what you need to maintain:
- Full steam ahead: Aim for full course load progress, completing 30 ECTS credits each semester.
- Academic excellence: Strive for a minimum cumulative GPA of “B” on the BI ECTS scale after each semester.
- Become a BI Ambassador (optional): This involves promoting the program and supporting fellow students, but specifics will be provided later.
Remember, detailed requirements are available in the Scholarship Agreement.
Focus on your studies, not finances!
This scholarship covers full tuition fees for up to two years, allowing you to concentrate on excelling in your Master’s program. Plus, a select few lucky recipients might even receive a one-time stipend for the first semester, which will be detailed in your scholarship offer. So, focus on achieving your academic goals without financial worries!
While BI offers generous scholarships, remember you’re up against many talented applicants. Here’s what we consider:
- Diversity is key: BI seeks to create a vibrant international community, so your unique background matters.
- Admission first: Apply for both scholarship and your desired MSc program at once, and ensure you accept your admission offer.
- Fairness across programs: Scholarships are spread across different Master’s programs to offer opportunities to diverse students.
- Strategic approach: BI awards scholarships based on institutional priorities, which may include specific programs, diverse student profiles, or partnerships.
- Beyond grades: While academic merit is assessed using the ECTS scale (international degrees converted), other achievements like extracurricular activities and personal accomplishments are also considered.
Stand out from the crowd by showcasing your academic excellence, unique contributions, and potential to thrive at BI!
