International Gender Champions

International Gender Champions Youth Champions Programme 2024

Summary

The IGC Youth Champions Programme, supported by the US Mission to International Organizations in Geneva, aims to dismantle gender equality barriers through intergenerational collaboration. It connects established Gender Champions with young activists for a six-month mutual mentoring exchange, fostering dialogue and learning.

Application Requirements

Applicants must have a history of gender equality activism, embrace inclusivity and diversity, possess English proficiency (B2 level), and commit to IGC’s values and pledges.

Fellowship Benefits

Participants will gain a platform to further their work, access to decision-makers’ expertise, and the opportunity to influence established leaders with their unique perspectives.

Fellowship Type

A reciprocal mentoring exchange lasting six months, promoting horizontal knowledge sharing and intergenerational dialogue.

Award Fellowships

The programme celebrates young activists as catalysts for change and equips them with the tools to amplify their impact on gender equality.
