Summary:

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field (a plus).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (a plus).
- A passion for public service and a commitment to clear communication (a plus).
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and scheduling engaging social media content that informs the public about DPU initiatives and services.
- Monitor social media platforms for trends, feedback, and media inquiries.
- Support the creation of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Assist with research and analysis of public communication efforts (possible).
- May participate in outreach events and engage with the community (depending on the program).
