Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in criminal justice, accounting, finance, or a related field (ideally nearing graduation).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Familiarity with legal and financial terminology (a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A high degree of integrity and discretion.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist investigators with research and analysis of financial records and other evidence.
- Contribute to the preparation of investigative reports and case documentation.
- May participate in conducting interviews and gathering witness statements (depending on the program).
- Learn about relevant tax laws and regulations (possible).
- Gain exposure to investigative techniques used in uncovering financial crimes (possible).
