- Education & Qualifications Requirements:
- Education:
- Master’s degree in computer science / mathematics.
- Bachelor’s degree in information Technology / Statistics.
- University degree in political sciences / development economics.
- Academic background in the field of Climate / Environmental Science / Environmental Policy / Soil Science, or Environmental Engineering.
- Have University degree in public international relations.
- Work Experiences:
- Full experience in analytics, business intelligence, information management, statistics, project management.
- Full work experience in using data to advance decisions, strategies and execution.
- Full experience in working with United Nations system.
- Perfect Skill in using tools for managing version control such as Git.
- Full Experience in database management or programming languages “SQL / Python”.
- Languages:
- Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
- Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (Germany ,French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.
- Key Responsibilities Career:
- Responsible for developing process improvement mechanisms for data analytics tasks and ensure technically sound execution of data analytics projects.
- Responsible for implementing databases / data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Full skill in management mechanisms for data analytics tasks and ensure technically sound execution of data analytics projects.
- Ability to develop reports, dashboards or other tools to effectively summarize findings and convey information to management.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the UN Services to identify data analytics needs and support data-driven projects the context of climate resilience.
