Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering (minimum sophomore year).
- Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00 on a scale of 4.0
- A strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, including process improvement, data analysis, and quality control.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools like AutoCAD, Lean Six Sigma, or similar (a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Responsibilities
- Assist with conducting process analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement within the manufacturing plant.
- Participate in data collection and analysis to optimize production line efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support with implementing and evaluating process improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma methodologies (as applicable).
- Contribute to developing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure tire production meets the highest standards.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations, showcasing your findings and recommendations.
- Gain exposure to various aspects of industrial engineering within a tire manufacturing setting.
