Incentive Compensation Intern

Granite Construction offers an Incentive Compensation Internship program for students interested in learning about the design, implementation, and analysis of incentive compensation plans within the construction industry. You’ll work alongside compensation and benefits professionals to gain valuable experience in this specialized field.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Compensation and Benefits, or a related field (with coursework in compensation or performance management)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with research and analysis of industry best practices in construction incentive compensation plans
• Help develop and maintain data models for tracking and analyzing incentive program performance
• Support the creation and communication of incentive program materials for employees
• Assist with the administration of incentive programs, including data entry and calculations
• Prepare reports and presentations on incentive program results
• Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations related to incentive compensation
