As an intern in the Human Resources department, the intern will actively participate in various aspects of full life cycle recruiting and other HR projects. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of requisitions and job descriptions, sourcing candidates through job boards and social media platforms, and cultivating employee referrals. The intern will have opportunities to observe and participate in phone screens and interviews, build a candidate pipeline, and gain exposure to areas such as Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Salary Research, and Employer Branding.

Responsibilities:
- Acquiring an understanding of the steps involved in the recruiting and hiring process and collaborating with the talent acquisition team to update job descriptions and postings.
- Conducting audits of recruitment processes across multiple channels.
- Researching hiring trends and best practices.
- Compiling and updating compensation plans.
- Enhancing the campus recruiting program and creating an HR events calendar.
- Maintaining and updating components of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Delivering segments of the onboarding process to new hires.
- Collaborating with the HR team on updates to the Employee Handbook.
- Participating in departmental and staff meetings.
- Gaining exposure to various areas of HR, including benefits, HRIS, and compliance.
- Interacting with individuals at all levels, including Hiring Managers and Executives.
Requirements:
- Demonstrating the ability to work independently and in groups.
- Possessing strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating courtesy, helpfulness, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and online research.

Education:
- Junior or senior status in a degreed program at a 4-year accredited college/university.
Preferred majors:
