Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (minimum sophomore year).
- A strong understanding of HR fundamentals, such as recruitment, employee relations, and compensation & benefits (preferred).
- Previous Human Resources or business experience desired but not required
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with various teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist with HR projects, including recruitment activities, onboarding processes, or employee relations initiatives (as applicable).
- Conduct research and prepare reports on HR trends, industry best practices, or compensation & benefits data (as applicable).
- Support with administrative tasks related to employee files, payroll, or benefits administration (as applicable).
- Participate in developing and delivering HR presentations or training materials (as applicable).
- Attend HR meetings and shadow HR professionals to gain insights into different HR functions.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging work environment within the HR department.
