Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowship

Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowship 2024

Summary:
The Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowship program is currently accepting applications. The fellowship aims to support post-doctoral researchers conducting policy-relevant research to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions that improve the effectiveness and equity of criminal justice practices. Fellows will have the opportunity to work on Arnold Ventures research projects and the fellowships will last up to three years. The Social Science Research Council, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization, is partnering with Arnold Ventures for this initiative.

Requirements:
– Applicants must be post-doctoral researchers pursuing policy-relevant causal research in the field of criminal justice.
– The research should focus on developing and evaluating scalable and cost-effective policy solutions.
– Fellows must have obtained a Ph.D. between September 2019 and September 2024.
– Fellows will be expected to dedicate up to 25% of their time to Arnold Ventures research projects.

Qualifications:
– Post-doctoral researchers with expertise in the social and behavioral sciences.
– Strong research background and interest in advancing the efficacy and equity of criminal justice practices.
– Ability to conduct policy-relevant research and develop innovative solutions.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Date and Location:
– Fellowships will begin in September 2024.
– The location of the fellows is flexible, allowing them to reside in a location of their choosing.
– Fellows residing in the United States will receive a salary of $120,000 with benefits and annual salary increases, while those residing outside the United States will receive fellowship stipends of $120,000.
