Healthcare Volunteer Program

This program allows you to contribute to Argentina’s healthcare system by assisting at medical facilities in Buenos Aires. You’ll gain valuable experience in a cross-cultural setting, observing clinical practices and potentially assisting medical professionals depending on your skills and Spanish proficiency.

Sponsor:

International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) is the sponsor of this program. They connect volunteers with meaningful projects around the world.

Location:

Buenos Aires, Argentina. You could be placed in a large teaching clinic or a smaller community clinic depending on the program’s needs.

Fees:

Programs start at $510 for one week, with options to volunteer for longer durations. This fee covers accommodation, airport pick-up, in-country support, and some meals. Flights and other personal expenses are not included. Be sure to check the IVHQ website for current pricing and program inclusions.

Volunteer Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Interest in healthcare is essential
• Medical or nursing students and qualified professionals are welcome
• Spanish language ability is a plus, but not always required (check with IVHQ for current requirements)
• Commitment to the program duration (1-12 weeks)
