Under the direction of the Mental Health Services Director, this position handles highly confidential data and adheres to strict confidentiality guidelines. The ideal candidate will accurately report data for special state reporting requirements and participate in statewide meetings. Additionally, they will assist with utilization review, tracking program productivity, and preparing technical reports related to population health management.

Education & Qualifications Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus five years of work experience OR a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, computer science, health information).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other databases (proficiency test in Microsoft Excel may be required).
Work Experiences
- Three (3) years of experience with health information management (data collection, tracking, reporting, and trending health-related information).
- Three (3) years’ work experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
Required Languages
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex data extraction and reporting for federal and state reporting obligations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines while handling highly sensitive data.
- Represent the agency at statewide meetings on a quarterly basis.
- Accurately report data for special state reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with different departments (e.g., accounting, reimbursement, quality management).
- Prepare special and routine reports.
- Monitor various databases and contribute to a centralized team.
- Assist with utilization review and program tracking.
- Develop and present training materials to staff.
- Assist with data entry.
