About the Role:
The Health and Nutrition Programs Coordinator is responsible for supporting all aspects of the foundation’s humanitarian health nutrition activities in Sana’a, Yemen. responsible for supporting the efforts in ensuring high-quality programming and implementation of health and nutrition activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in strategic planning for the health and nutrition Program for Yemen response and ensure linkages into overall organization Strategic Plans and programming;
- Assist with proposal development in the H&N sector in coordination with the Country Office and HQ support teams.
- Work closely with the Deputy of Executive Director to ensure all H&N Projects are implemented according to approved SoPs and guidelines.
- Ensure synergy and coordination while implementing all H&N projects.
- Responsible for the implementation of the Health and Nutrition project in order to meet the project objectives and outputs within allocated budget and within the allotted time frame, and report promptly any operational concerns to line manager;
- Ensure the effective management and development of the Emergency Health and Nutrition programs monitoring, review and evaluation of the situation and program and within the framework of the overall organization’s emergency response.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in medical science is mandatory.
- An advance degree in the same area such as master’s is an advantage, professional training in nutrition, and /or Pharmacy Management is an added value.
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of relevant experience with NGOs including 3 years in management position.
- English Language skills, with excellent expertise in oral and written Arabic language is a must.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Proven conceptual skills and an ability to plan strategically
- Flexibility and ability to manage a complex and demanding workload
- Excellent Report Writing proficiency skill is a must.
