Summary:
This assignment is for designing promotional materials and visuals in Qatar, focusing on the Sustainable Development Goal of good health and well-being. The volunteer will be required to work 11-15 hours per week for 4 weeks. The host entity is WHO QAT and the type of work is online.
The volunteer will collaborate with the communications team to produce approximately 30 graphic designs for various documents and materials. They will collect information on the target audience, design style, and branding guidelines, create draft designs, and develop them based on the requirements. The designs should follow the corporate design guidelines provided in advance. This opportunity allows volunteers to connect with the Communication Team at the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office and learn how graphic design can support the dissemination of evidence-based health information and promote universal health coverage.

Requirements:
- Professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts.
- In-depth knowledge in graphic design applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge in Arabic and English.
Responsibilities:
- Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.
- Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point/ communications team;
- Develop the design according to agreed requirements.
