Summary:

Become a volunteer in the Galapagos Islands and participate in the Giant Tortoise Conservation project. Join efforts to protect and preserve the largest living species of tortoise, which is currently endangered. You will have the unique opportunity to care for these magnificent creatures at a breeding center, while raising awareness about environmental issues and conservation activities. Requirements:

• Age: Volunteers aged 18 and above.
• Language: The conversational level of Spanish is useful.
• Physical Fitness: A high level of physical fitness is strongly encouraged.
• Duration: Minimum of 2 weeks commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Care for and feed the giant tortoises at the Breeding Center.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining the center.
• Interact with tourists and students, educating them about the tortoises and the center’s objectives.
• Practice conversational English with the reserve guides.
