Game Operations Intern (Fall 2024) at Pacers Sports & Entertainment

Immerse yourself in the exciting world of professional basketball with the Pacers Sports & Entertainment Game Operations Internship! This fall semester program offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in coordinating talent, events, and entertainment for Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever home games. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a thrilling and engaging gameday experience for Pacers fans.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student (preferred)
  • Major in Sports Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for basketball and the sports industry
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and gamedays

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating talent appearances for Pacers and Fever home games (mascots, dance teams, etc.)
  • Contribute to the setup and teardown of concourse entertainment
  • Help manage in-game activities, contests, and events (time-outs, halftime shows, etc.)
  • Attend Game Operations and Marketing meetings
  • Participate in various projects related to gameday operations
  • Interact and exchange information with other NBA and WNBA teams (as assigned)
