Fulbright Teaching Excellence Program

Opportunities for Educators in Various Disciplines

Summary:
The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2024-2025 is currently accepting applications. The program offers fully-funded opportunities for educators in various disciplines to attend academic seminars at a host university in the United States. The seminars cover topics such as new teaching methodologies, student-centered learning, instructional technology, and content-based instruction. Participants also gain practical experience by spending a minimum of 40 hours in a field experience with a U.S. partner educator in a local secondary school. Additionally, participants engage in cultural activities to learn about the United States and their host communities. Applicants can choose the general program or apply to a cohort specializing in gender, media literacy, or climate education. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by IREX.

1. Fellowship Type: Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program 2024-2025

2. Application Requirements:
– Open to educators in various disciplines, including English as a foreign language, foreign languages, journalism, communications, STEM, social studies, special education, and others.
– Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
– Proficiency in English is required.
– Applicants must be able to travel to the United States for six weeks.
