French-African Foundation’s Young Leaders Program
French-African Foundation’s Young Leaders Program 2025 is a prestigious initiative aimed at identifying, assembling, and nurturing high-potential talents from France and Africa. Under the High Patronage of H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and H.E. Andry Rajoelina, President of the Republic of Madagascar, the program seeks to foster a new generation of leaders committed to driving positive change across both regions.
French-African Foundation’s Young Leaders Program Overview
Each year, the Young Leaders Program selects 30 exceptional individuals from France and Africa to participate in two intensive week-long seminars: one in France and another in an African country. For the 2025 cohort, the seminars are scheduled as follows:
- June 2025: Week-long seminar in France
- November 2025: Week-long seminar in Madagascar
These seminars offer participants unique opportunities to engage with influential figures from the public and private sectors, receive mentorship, and collaborate on addressing contemporary global challenges.
French-African Foundation’s Young Leaders Program Objectives
The Young Leaders Program is designed to:
- Identify: Recognize exceptional individuals with strong leadership skills and high-impact potential.
- Connect: Foster strategic interactions between young leaders and key decision-makers in both public and private sectors.
- Strengthen: Enhance relationships between Africa, France, and the global community through meaningful collaborations, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing.
French-African Foundation’s Young Leaders Program Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 28 and 40 years old in 2025.
- Nationality: Hold French nationality or be a citizen of an African country.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is appreciated but not mandatory.
- Professional Experience: At least five years of professional experience demonstrating leadership skills and impact.
- Vision: A clear desire to build bridges between African countries and France.
