Summary:
The Atlas South Mediterranean – France Postdoctoral Fellowship 2024 is a five-month program that provides participants with access to world-class experts, project management, advocacy, and diplomacy skills, and networking, mentoring, and collaboration opportunities. It is open to young researchers from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia and Syria and affiliated to one of the 164 Universities member of UNIMED. The application deadline is March 18, 2024.
Application Requirements:
To apply, you need to have a doctoral degree received on or after April 2, 2018, be a citizen of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan, and have an innovative and impactful project proposal for advancing sustainability. You also need to submit a CV, a personal statement, two work samples, and two references.
Fellowship Benefits:
As a fellow, you will get two weeks of intensive training, as well as ongoing support and guidance from FMSH and UNIMED experts. You will also join a network of diverse and passionate sustainability leaders and peers who share your vision and values.
Fellowship Type:
The fellowship is a full-time, immersive, and remote program that lasts for five months, from September 2024 to January 2025. You will work on your own projects and assignments, as well as collaborate with other fellows and mentors throughout the program.
Award Fellowships:
FMSH and UNIMED will select 15 fellows for the 2024 cohort, based on the quality and diversity of their applications. The fellowship is tuition-free, thanks to the generous support of various funders.
