Responsibilities:

• Assist forensic scientists with various tasks in assigned laboratory sections (biology, trace evidence, firearms, etc.) (Specific duties will vary depending on placement).
• Learn about proper handling and analysis of crime scene evidence.
• Conduct basic laboratory procedures under the guidance of experienced scientists.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.
• May assist with research projects related to forensic science (as assigned).
