Internship Description:
Cartier, a prestigious luxury brand in the jewelry, timepiece, and accessories industries, is excited to extend an invitation to passionate and enthusiastic students who are eager to contribute to and experience the day-to-day projects of high-end luxury brands. The company is offering a 6 to 12-month internship starting in February 2024.
As an intern at Cartier, candidates will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the organization and Swiss culture, actively participating in a diverse range of activities. The internship will be based in the Cartier office in Meyrin, where interns will closely collaborate with the Events Project Manager. The main responsibility will be to assist and support the Events Project Manager in coordinating various event-related activities. Interns will utilize their strong organizational skills and creative thinking to contribute to the development, production, and successful delivery of events tailored to the brand’s requirements.
Responsibilities:
In this role, interns will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Events Project Manager to coordinate all aspects of event-related activities.
- Identify suitable vendors, negotiate service contracts, and oversee their work.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail to create project timelines and ensure seamless event production, logistics control, hospitality, and event management.
- Utilize excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional departments.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Luxury and able to provide an internship agreement (compulsory).
- Available to start on February 1st, 2024.
- Fluent in both English and French; proficiency in other Swiss languages would be highly appreciated.
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and demonstrate creativity.
- Be a team player who excels at collaborating with cross-functional departments to achieve goals.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and have a general understanding of systems.
- Flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic about assisting with various tasks throughout the day.
