Scholarship Coverage:
The EMJMD scholarships include student participation costs (including tuition fees, full insurance coverage, and any other mandatory costs associated with student participation in the course), a contribution to student travel and installation costs, and a subsistence allowance for the duration of the EMJMD study program.
Qualifications:
- Required Languages: English (you will have the opportunity to learn French during the course).
- Eligible countries include all countries across the world.
- Background: BSc: degree or equivalent degree of at least 180 ECTS or equivalent in food science and technology, biotechnology, process engineering, biochemistry, nutrition, or food-related fields with a number of prerequisites (e.g., chemistry, biotechnology, process technology/engineering, biochemistry, mathematics, statistics) representing at least three years of study from a foreign institute of higher education.
- Candidates should want to have truly international academic experience and pursue an international career.
- The English language competence level (“B2 level” according to CEFR, advanced) is proven in one of the following ways:
- TOEFL at a minimum of 575.
- TOEFL online with a minimum score of 90.
IELTS at a minimum of 6.5. - Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (FCE at B2 level, CAE, or CPE).
- Students who speak English as their first language (proof in the form of a passport copy).
- Students who have finished a higher education degree using English as the medium of instruction (a university certificate is necessary to demonstrate this).
- Stay in an English-speaking nation for more than a year (proof required: a certificate from the employer or other relevant party, or a copy of the passport page indicating the visa to enter and leave the English-speaking country).
- Exemptions may be granted for exceptional pupils with lower English proficiency levels.
