Education & Qualifications Requirements:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business administration / Economic / social development.
  • Master’s degree in international relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in political sciences.
  • Master’s degree in public relations.

Work Experiences:

  • Professional experience in environmental / Social and Human Rights matters.
  • Professional experience in financial sector or the sustainability area.
  • Prefect experience in human rights.
  • Experience in implementation of the UNGPs in the context of Financial Institutions.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to achieve multiple deadlines.
  • Full-Knowledge of understanding of NGOs missions and goals.
  • Full-Knowledge in international public relations.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English language is Required (both oral and written).
  • Have a Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) both oral and written.

Key Responsibilities Career:

  • Responsible for supporting the implementation of UNEP FI social and human rights strategy and work plan.
  • Responsible for providing inputs and operational support in the delivery of UNEP FI’s strategy and work plan for 2024.
  • Responsible for supporting the delivery of industry, thematic and regional activities from a social issues and human rights perspective.
  • Responsible for ensuring human rights issues, including their gender equality dimensions considerations.
  • Responsible for coordinating and maintaining the UNEP FI Human Rights Community of practice.
